Reading, Reading, Reading
I've been reading this great series by Steven L. Kent. The series is based about 500 years in the future, when man has space travel and a device which allows ships to teleport to other arms of the galaxy. This device is like a hub, and allows for instant travel to other sections of the galaxy which have a similar device installed.
The Unified Authority, the governing body of mankind, creates clones for it's military. The clones, however, don't know they are clones. If they learn they are a clone, a special gland in their brain activates and kills them. It's a way for the government to protect itself from its warrior class.
The hero, Wayson Harris, learns he is a clone, but he doesn't die. He learns he is a special kind of clone, and the last of his batch. His breed of clones are designed for special combat. They are vicious in combat, taller than the standard clone, and are addicted to fighting.
I have just finished the last available book in the series. A fourth book is coming out next month. These books are so good, I read the second and third ones in one day (each)! I couldn't put them down.
